Description
External gear pump consists of the casing and two identical gear. One is the drive gear where it is driven by a drive unit & the other gear is commonly known as driven gear. The drive gear will turn the driven gear. When the gears rotates, it create a low pressure in the pump which pulls in the liquids, This liquid will fill into the gear cavities. Then it is transported the discharge port. At the discharge port, the gears meshes back & force the liquid to flow out through the discharge port
